These are informal terms for an indie app, not legal advice.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use German Words on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple’s App Store rules.
German Words is free. No in-app purchases or subscriptions. All CEFR levels and categories are included.
Words you create (“My Words”) remain yours. The app stores them locally on your device.
Bundled word lists are compiled from learner-oriented sources for study purposes. The app does not claim affiliation with exam boards.
The app is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee exam results, the accuracy of every translation, or uninterrupted operation.
We may release updates (bug fixes, content, features) at our discretion. A one-time purchase is intended to include future updates to the core app; separate paid content packs, if any, would be clearly labeled.
Your use is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and App Store terms.
