Summary

German Words is a free offline vocabulary flashcard app. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data with our servers — there are no developer-operated servers and no accounts.

Data stored on your device

The app stores the following only on your iPhone or iPad:

• Study progress (which cards you know or want to revisit) — SwiftData
• Bundled and custom vocabulary — SwiftData
• Favorites — stored locally (UserDefaults)
• UI preferences (e.g. list vs tile view) — UserDefaults
• Vocabulary seed metadata (so bundled words update safely) — UserDefaults

This data stays on your device unless you use device backup (iCloud Backup, Finder backup, etc.), which is controlled by Apple and your settings.

What we do not do

• No user accounts or login
• No analytics or advertising SDKs
• No tracking across apps or websites
• No sale of personal information
